The flames of these candles will burn high and fast please be wary of the flame and do not leave unattended. These candles burn for about 60 minutes so that the spell caster can easily focus on their spell with a long enough burn time for energy work but short enough time to not lose focus. Burn time depends on if you are in or outdoors (wind makes candles burn faster).
beeswax in witchcraft
Most candles sold for chime and spell candles are made with paraffin waxes that burn toxic fumes. Using a natural vegetable soy and pure beeswax blend creates a clean burning candle that is toxic free.
Magical Properties of Beeswax
Beeswax has been used in witchcraft since ancient times. Bees have a sacred association with the Mother Goddess. At the temple of Aphrodite at Eryx, Priestesses were called “Melissae” which means bee and Aphrodite herself was called “Melisa” meaning Queen Bee.
Bees build their colony from beeswax in six-sided cells. The honeycomb shape mirrors the Seed of Life and the hexagram of sacred geometry.
WARNING: These candles are best for burning outdoors. Should you burn your candle indoors please make sure you use a proper fireproof safe dish or mason jar and make sure no flammable objects, children, or pets are around. Do not leave candle unattended while burning. The more the candle burns down with the flames the more the flame will grow. Be wary of the flame. Safest to put out with a candle snuffer. Keep out of reach and away from children and pets.
